Chief Financial Officer (In-Person – Albuquerque, NM)

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Chief Financial Officer to join our Albuquerque office, located at 2125 Wyoming Blvd NE, Suite 100 Albuquerque, NM 87112.

About the Role:
This fully in-person position offers a unique opportunity to be an integral part of our operations team. You’ll be responsible for managing the firm’s financial records—specifically our IOLTA and corporate accounts—while also handling a variety of administrative and client-facing responsibilities to ensure the office runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of IOLTA (trust) accounts and corporate financial accounts
  • Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and reconciliations
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as answering and routing incoming calls, managing calendars and scheduling appointments, organizing documents, preparing correspondence, and handling incoming/outgoing mail
  • Serve as a first point of contact for clients—both over the phone and in person—providing professional, courteous, and compassionate support
  • Support client communications with professionalism and discretion
  • Perform general office management duties to ensure a well-organized environment

Qualifications:

  • Prior bookkeeping experience, especially with legal trust/IOLTA accounts, is required
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care
  • Patience and empathy for clients and prospective clients who have suffered severe injuries and unimaginable losses
  • Previous experience in a legal or professional services office is encouraged

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Pay DOE (Depending on Experience)
