How Negligence Can Cause Jackknife Truck Accidents

Although jackknife accidents can be caused by various factors, just some of the negligence-related factors that can contribute to these wrecks may include:

  • Driver impairment and/or distraction – If truckers (or other motorists) are impaired by alcohol, drugs, fatigue or even a distraction, they are far more likely to miss seeing important things, like a changing signal light or stop signs.
